Primitive brass spring lancet.  This is a single unit piece made by a local craftsman.  It bears none of the hallmarks of a mass produced piece.  The back plate is punch inscribed SW.  The interior has very simple mechanisms and a creative pin to hold the reset spring in place (arrow) .  It is common in items to have this spring missing.
