Weiss Phleme with iron handle
Unusual cased Weiss veterinary spring lancet. The cocking lever seats behind the release mechanism providing the drive on release. The horn insert is used to control momentum of the piece during initiation of the mechanism. This piece has a grooved iron handle and no penetrations for a means of securing a cover for the handle. This would indicate none was ever present. The item has 2 extra blades included in the case.
